Muay Thai for Lafayette, CO Residents

The most complete striking art in the world, taught under authentic Serial Boxe lineage, just 15 minutes south of Lafayette via US-287. Your first class is free.

Lafayette's Closest Serious Muay Thai Gym

Lafayette doesn't have a real Muay Thai gym inside city limits. The few striking-related options nearby tend to be kickboxing-style fitness classes at general gyms, useful for a workout, but not the kind of technical, lineaged Muay Thai that serious students are looking for. Your closest legitimate option is Limitless Combat Academy in Broomfield, a 15-minute drive south on US-287.

We've been teaching Muay Thai in the Boulder-Broomfield corridor since 2017, and our adult program is the most popular at the academy. Lafayette students make up a growing portion of it, drawn here by Kru Ali Hanjani's direct lineage under Sensei Benjamin Schissler (Serial Boxe) and by an academy culture that fits Lafayette's small-town, no-nonsense mindset.

What Makes Limitless Muay Thai Different

Most striking classes within driving distance of Lafayette lean heavily on the fitness side and lightly on the technical side. We do the opposite. Our classes are technically rigorous, stance, footwork, balance, mechanics, taught by coaches who have actually competed and refined the art at the highest level. Conditioning is built into the work, but it's not the main point.

Authentic Serial Boxe Lineage

Kru Ali trained directly under Sensei Benjamin Schissler, one of the most respected international Muay Thai instructors and the founder of the Serial Boxe Striking System. That lineage shows up in everything we teach. This isn't a kickboxing program with Thai window-dressing. It's real Muay Thai, with techniques and traditions that trace back to authentic sources.

What to Expect

First-class welcome

A coach meets you at the door, gives you a tour, and sets you up with loaner gloves and shin guards. Bring athletic clothes and a water bottle. That's it.

Warm-up (15 min)

Light cardio, dynamic stretching, movement drills. Pace adapts to your fitness level, no shame in scaling down.

Technique drilling (30 min)

A coach demonstrates a strike or combination, breaks down the mechanics, and you partner up to drill slowly with controlled intensity.

Pads & bags (15 min)

Hit something. Partner pad work or heavy bag rounds. No sparring on day one.

Why Lafayette Residents Drive Down for Muay Thai

A coach with real fight credentials

Kru Ali Hanjani retired from professional MMA in 2016 after a six-year pro career under Sensei Schissler. His Muay Thai isn't theoretical, it was tested under the brightest lights in the sport, and that experience shows in every class.

Technical depth that doesn't exist in Lafayette

There's nothing inside Lafayette that comes close to what we offer for Muay Thai. The full eight-limb curriculum, clinch work, knees, elbows, fight-tested footwork, requires a specialist coaching environment. We're the closest gym that has it.

Word-of-mouth credibility

Lafayette is a community where people ask their neighbors for recommendations. We're the gym that consistently gets recommended, because every Lafayette student who's trained here for any length of time has the same things to say about the experience.

A welcoming room, not a fight gym

Combat sports gyms can be intimidating. Ours isn't. Lafayette students often comment that the first thing they noticed walking in was how friendly the room was, and that's by design.
