Muay Thai for Boulder, CO Residents

The most complete striking art in the world, taught under authentic Serial Boxe lineage, just 15 minutes south of downtown Boulder. Your first class is free.

The Boulder Muay Thai Gym That Takes the Art Seriously

Boulder has a few kickboxing-style fitness classes, but if you're looking for real, technical, lineaged Muay Thai, the kind taught the way it's taught in Thailand, your closest legitimate option is Limitless Combat Academy in Broomfield, a 15-minute drive south on US-36.

We've been teaching Muay Thai in the Boulder County area since 2017, and our adult program is the most popular at the academy. Boulder students make up a significant portion of it, drawn here by Kru Ali Hanjani's direct lineage under Sensei Benjamin Schissler (Serial Boxe) and by an academy culture that fits the Boulder mindset.

What Makes Limitless Muay Thai Different

Most striking classes in the Boulder area lean heavily on the fitness side and lightly on the technical side. We do the opposite. Our classes are technically rigorous, stance, footwork, balance, mechanics, taught by coaches who have actually competed and refined the art at the highest level. Conditioning is built into the work, but it's not the main point.

Authentic Serial Boxe Lineage

Kru Ali trained directly under Sensei Benjamin Schissler, one of the most respected international Muay Thai instructors and the founder of the Serial Boxe Striking System. That lineage shows up in everything we teach. This isn't a kickboxing program with Thai window-dressing. It's real Muay Thai, with techniques and traditions that trace back to authentic sources.

What to Expect

Light cardio, dynamic stretching, movement drills. Pace adapts to your fitness level, no shame in scaling down.

Technique drilling (30 min)

A coach demonstrates a strike or combination, breaks down the mechanics, and you partner up to drill slowly with controlled intensity.

Why Boulder Residents Drive Down for Muay Thai

A coach with real fight credentials

Kru Ali Hanjani retired from professional MMA in 2016 after a six-year pro career under Sensei Schissler. His Muay Thai isn't theoretical, it was tested under the brightest lights in the sport, and that experience shows in every class.

Technical depth that's rare in the area

Most Boulder striking gyms teach kickboxing-style classes focused on fitness. We teach Muay Thai the way it's taught in Thailand, clinch work, knees, elbows, the full eight-limb curriculum. Boulder students consistently report this is what they were missing in local options.

A welcoming, no-ego environment

Combat sports gyms can be intimidating. Ours isn't. Boulder students often comment that the first thing they noticed walking in was how friendly the room was, and that's by design.

Easy drive from anywhere in Boulder

Downtown Boulder to Limitless is 15 minutes via US-36. South Boulder is 12. Even North Boulder is 20. Most Boulder students train evenings on the way home from work, which makes the route especially convenient.
