Women's Self-Defense for Northglenn, CO Residents

Real techniques that work against larger attackers, led by Coach Rachel Fiddes, an active Muay Thai competitor. Respectful, judgment-free, and 15 minutes west of Northglenn.

Why Most Women's Self-Defense Doesn't Work

Most women's self-defense content is bad. Some of it is dangerously bad. Weekend seminars, viral videos, and community-center classes teach techniques that look impressive in demos but fall apart the moment a real, larger person actively resists. That gap, between what looks good and what actually works, is what gets women hurt when it matters.

Our women's self-defense program at Limitless is built differently. Coach Rachel Fiddes is an active Muay Thai competitor who has rolled, sparred, and competed against partners much larger than her for nearly a decade. The techniques she teaches aren't theoretical; they're the ones that have actually worked for her against bigger opponents. That's a different curriculum than what most options near Northglenn offer.

Led by a Female Coach Who Has Actually Done It

Coach Rachel doesn't teach women's self-defense as a side gig. She's an active Muay Thai competitor, meaning she trains the techniques full contact, in real fights, against opponents trying to stop her. That experience changes how she teaches. The techniques you'll learn in her classes are tested, not theoretical.

A Respectful, Judgment-Free Environment

Women's training at Limitless is deliberately patient, calmly delivered, and free of the condescension that often plagues women's combat sports instruction. Students set their own pace. No one is ever pushed into something they're not ready for. The room is friendly, supportive, and welcoming to women new to combat sports.

What to Expect

Awareness & prevention first

Real self-defense starts before anything physical happens. Class includes situational awareness, de-escalation, and decision-making under pressure, not just techniques.

Striking fundamentals

Real strikes that work against larger attackers, palm strikes, knees, elbows. Drilled on pads, slowly built up over weeks. No sparring required.

Grappling defense

Many real attacks involve grabbing, clinching, or being pulled to the ground. BJJ-based ground escapes are core to our curriculum, and they hold up under full resistance.

Scenario drilling

Once you have fundamentals, we drill specific scenarios, grabs from behind, attempted clinches, ground positions. This is what builds the muscle memory you'd actually use.

Why Northglenn Women Train at Limitless

A coach who has actually fought

Real fight experience changes how a coach teaches self-defense. Coach Rachel knows what works under fight pressure because she's used it under fight pressure. Most women's self-defense instructors don't have that.

Pressure-tested techniques, not seminar moves

Our curriculum is built around techniques that have been pressure-tested under full resistance for decades, BJJ, Muay Thai. Not choreographed sequences that fall apart against a real, larger person.

A women's-friendly environment that's actually friendly

Northglenn women considering self-defense often hesitate because of bad experiences with intimidating gyms. Ours isn't. The room is patient, the coaching is calm, and the culture explicitly welcomes women at every experience level.

Path to deeper training if you want it

Many women start in our women's-focused classes and gradually integrate into Muay Thai or BJJ as their confidence grows. The progression is yours to control, and we make it easy.
